Wrought, Raised n' Forged 11th Feb -4th Mar 2006 The greasy column sits atop of their shoulders. They oblige but not without retching:
Medallions sit on the walls, the face and the horns. S.M
Heaving onwards with his monument from a new age trundling in tow. Determined not to perish in the jungle that crept from this era of liberation; he embarks upon a quest: pursuing knowledge through the reactivation of old methods, naively hoping his regressive investigations will lead to the forgotten promises of a better future. In Summer 2005, The Scottish Sculpture Workshop and The Embassy came together to offer two residencies to artists from The Embassy’s membership. The two successful applicants, Scott Laverie and Stephen Murray, spent five weeks at the SSW in Lumsden, Aberdeenshire, during August. Wrought, Raised ‘n’ Forged is the product of their time spent there.
