10-19 August: The Vacuum Cleaner: Private Hire
20-24 August: What They Could Do They Did
25-27 August: Lisa Findlay & Liz Webster Bang Carrroty and the Cardboard Cod Present
"Mr Sands is in the Foyer"

Once upon a time, long long ago, two moustache-twirling, udder-pulling, shoulderpad-shaking mavericks, who went by the names of Bang Carroty and The Cardboard Cod, took the stag by the antlers, the cow by the udders and the West End by storm. Known for their curious couture and mesmerising motions, the troubling double act stickslapped, fishwhacked and carrotslung their way into the lemonlight, causing media mayhem and frenzy. Audiences travelled far and wide to see the infamous pair in their oversized and misshapen performance, and before long they became a farce to be reckoned with. And now, for one night only (and a couple of afternoons, don’t say they ain’t good to ya) our gruelling, duelling duo will gyrate, pulsate and levitate for your delight and entertainment.

COME is a multi sensorial, interactive music and art club night with bands, installations, performances, DJS and visuals. We work in relation to our surroundings and always strive to create a new experience with every event that we orchestrate. For this event we have based the night on the theme of religion, playing off the fact that the Forest Hall used to be a church, thus creating the night 'COME religiously'. The Event will be free to everyone and will run from 10pm until 3am. There will be an installation from one of COME's resident artists, Callum Monteith whilst also featuring installations from guest artists 'Smithwerk' (Tom Newell & Ben Newell), Calvin Laing and Liam Crichton. The installations always aim to be interactive, with the hope of creating a different environment for our audience to experience. The bands will start with 'Dirty Hearts' (who recently headlined King Tuts in Glasgow), followed by the headlining act Tyrannothesaurus (Edinburgh/Leeds duo). Our compère for the night will be Steven Morrison (founder of the Edinburgh Performance Group: 'The Art of Experience'). There will also a range of music and video art played between artists and bands. After the bands 'GET MESSY' (COME residents) will play a DJ/ VJ set, spiritualizing the audience with electronic visual sound.
